Charley in New Town (1948)

'New Town' is an entry in a Central Office of Information-sponsored animated series featuring the everyman character Charley, and promotes an escape from grimy, smoggy towns and arduous commutes to work. With the highly distinctive animation style of husband-and-wife team Halas and Batchelor, this short aims to explain the rationale behind the planning of the new towns, with their enticing offer of green open spaces and a type of housing to suit everyone. Building skywards - Manhattan-style - is quickly ruled out for us Brits; "Don't be silly, I'd never get me pram up there" pipes up a member of the unseen chorus of unhappy city-dwellers. But considering the urban sprawl now devouring the south-east of England, perhaps skyscrapers were the way to go after all. Jean-Michel Jarre - Concert Paris la Défense (The whole concert)

Playlist - Full Concerts: www.youtube.com The French National Day 1990 celebration marked the closing of the festivities celebrating the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. Jarre conceived a gigantic concert for Paris' downtown, modern business quarters. La Defense, it must be said, formed the perfect background, not simply because of its futuristic character, but also because of the tall skyscrapers, von Spreckelsen's new Arc de Triomphe and steel monoliths which line the horizon visible from the centre of the city. Jarre designed a pyramid-shaped stage to fit the geometrical architecture of the setting where he performed with his musicians, a classical Arab ensemble (France's second largest community), and others including a choir, a steel-drum band and gigantic dancing puppets of various kinds. The entire show was synchronised and illuminated by 65 tons of fireworks, as well as laser and light projections on the tall buildings. For over two hours Jarre enchanted yet another record live audience of 2.5 million people, and most of Paris was replete with electronic sounds and a sea of light on this festive July summer evening. WTC7 in Freefall--No Longer Controversial

Visit AE911truth.org where you will find over 1000 Architects & Engineers demanding a real investigation into the events of 9/11 and the demolition of 3 skyscrapers in NYC. This is a revised analysis of WTC7 freefall collapse by David Chandler a High School Physics teacher. He has included an analysis evaluating the claims made by NIST in their Final Report of WTC7. However, what is most compelling about this video analysis is the pure, unbiased scientific scrutiny that David gives to the collapse. He is truly "spot on" with his application of the universally applicable law of free fall bodies due to the acceleration of gravity. After any open-minded, logical person views and comprehends what they watch in this video, there can be no doubt that that building came down at virtual free-fall speed...which raises the question, how could that be? The only reasonable answer is via controlled demolition...and that raises the question how could that be pulled off on the very same day "a surprise attack" was perpetrated on the US. After all, controlled demolitions take weeks and weeks of planning and coordination to put in place and test. A whole series of questions then follows...Could Arab terrorists have access to this building or the twin towers? If not then who? All unanswered questions, that to date have no good answers...that the 911 commission report failed to uncover or even discuss. SimCity 4 Greatest Region

Please watch "SimCity 4 Greatest Region III" or "SimCity 4 Greatest Region II" for an updated version of this region. The entire region was built from one flat plain, and includes all custom geography and a custom bitmap. The size of the bitmap is 28x28 and my central city is a large 4x4 tile. I use the latest update for the game and a few plugins which I will list. Plugins: Yacht Club AirForce Base Fast Food Restaurant Pack Large Elementary School Mods: No Oneway Road Arrows Bridge Height Cheats: weaknesspays you don't deserve it Everything else is completely standard and original to Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition. No demand mods, transportation mods, or skyscrapers plugins were used. All highway and other infrastructure was built using no mods including all my tunnel work. Most of my infrastructure was built prior to development. To subsidize the cost, I used the "weaknesspays" cheat, but the city's budget is positive.
