EMG Pickups presents, James Signature EMG Pickups - PART TWO Check out the newly released JH Signature EMG pick-ups. The design was driven solely with the input of James, who was looking to create a "stealth" looking set that captures the clarity and punch of a passive pickup and still retains the legendary active tone. For those of you who like tech-talk, the new pick-ups feature sleek black nickel plated caps and EMG's Solderless Installation System components and the JH Set consists of the JH-N (neck) and the JH-B (bridge). Both pickups were patterned after the pickups James has used for 30 years but the end result was a completely different animal. The JH-N has individual ceramic poles and bobbins that feature a larger core and are taller than the 60. This produces more attack, higher output, and fuller low end in the neck position. The JH-B uses the same type of core but has steel pole pieces, unlike the 81 that uses bar magnets. This produces the familiar tight attack with less inductance for a cleaner low end. how to remove tarnish and clean silver coins, bars, or jewelry

I discovered an easy method of removing tarnish from silver, using stuff we all have at home. After viewing the technique I decided to film myself trying it out for the first time. Since then it has become an indispensable tool for caring for my silver. You'll need an inert bowl (such as glass or ceramic), 2 cups very hot water, a teaspoon of table salt, a piece of folded up aluminum foil, and a tablespoon of baking soda. You can also add a teaspoon of vinegar to acidify the solution and speed up the reaction, but I don't bother. This reaction only works with silver, so don't use it on other metal types. The more silver in your item, the better this process will clean it. I recommend it mainly for junk silver (80% or 90%), sterling silver (92.5%), or pure silver bullion (99% and up). It has been known to work on jewelry. I don't recommend it for coins with numismatic (collector) value, or for valuable jewelry, unless you know what you're doing.
