The album where appeared this title was sold to more than 12 million copies in 1976. Owen Replay put back this electronic title with current tastes. This title is one of the most important influence that changed radically the electronic music. The original idea comes from a video where people danced on oxygn 4 in a discotheque. Owen had the idea to remix it for 2007. He received the authorization of record Dreyfus and Jean Michel Jarre for these remix.. The song was recorded in Brussels. Owen Replay is Belgian with Peruvian origins, he was born in 1971 in Brussels. At the early age of 9, he began learning the classical organ and later he chose to experiment with synthesizers. Coming from a family of musicians and singers, he starts to compose at the age of 12. At the time, his musical influences came from groups and composers such as Kraftwerk , JM Jarre, Vangelis, etc. and later on by other groups including Dépêche Mode, Clinton, Master at. work etc. Owen Replays debut in studio was at the age of 14 with a friend who will introduce him to electronic music. Then, Owen Replay graduates in Interior design and starts to produce music. He works for different artists including David Morales (for the label Freezer Jam), Paul Johnson, Gloria Gaynor, Ce Ce Rogers, the group Lois Bravos, for the label BNY etc. He also produces, under the name Dj ... |
