Tron 2.0 Light Cycle Prototype at San Diego Comic-Con

At Comic-Con tonight, they had a Tron scavenger hunt. Participants collected clues that led us to an building where Disney had recreated Flynn's Arcade from the first movie. We played free video games for a few minutes before a fake power outage, which caused the Tron machine to slide away, revealing a secret passage. We walked through a hallway with light cycle concept art on the walls, and when we turned the corner, there was a full-scale model of the light cycle from the new movie on a rotating platform. It's a much sleeker design than in the first movie, but see for yourself.

Blu Monday: TRON, Taxi Driver and Black Swan

This week on Blu Monday, we review one film that actually came out last week, Black Swan, which is one of the best films ever. Also out this week we review the 25th Anniversary of Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver. Little tidbit for you: did you know that the 25th anniversary also celebrates the anniversary of the assassination attempt of President Reagan, which was directly linked to Taxi Driver in that the attempted killer was obsessed with Jodie Foster in her role as the young prostitute in Taxi Driver. He was sending her letters and attempted to kill President Regan as a sign of his love for her. Last but not least, we review the Classic TRON and the new TRON: Legacy, both on blu-ray. I know that we ripped the last film to shreds on our review, but you have to give it a chance on blu-ray, as it shows what it's truly made of. Tron Legacy: RARE Clean Video playing on the wall of the End of Line Club

You won't see this elsewhere! This is an unobscured video of the Tron Legacy multimedia playing on the wall of the End of Line Club. No shelves and bottles of the bar or the tops of peoples heads. There were three walls with video, this is the video playing on the main (and largest) wall behind the bar. Oh, and ignore what the person says at the end of the video. He was only joking.....really!
