Parvarish - Episode 104 - 12th April 2012

'Parvarrish -- Kuchh Khatti Kuchh Meethi' is a beautiful narration of parent-child relationship -- a story of nurturing, supporting and guiding the child and most importantly the different roles parents play while bringing up their children. The different thoughts and beliefs of parenting come alive in the strong role-play of different sets of parents and their varied approach towards upbringing of the kids. Paravrrish unfurls these diverse roles that parents play in development of their children. It is the story of real people, real emotions of parenting set in present day times.Parvarrish is an interestingly woven family drama about two sisters, Sweety Ahluwalia and Pinky Ahuja, who are caught up in a hearty sibling rivalry in their attempt to be a better parent. Each has a different set of beliefs and a different take on how one needs to bring up their children and like all the parents in today's world, both the sisters and their husbands play different roles at different points and in their children's lives. Pinky believes that one needs to be a friend to one's children, whereas Sweety believes in being a stricter and disciplinarian mother. The show explores the universal concept of parenting with two mothers and their different approaches towards it.Parvarish is not just about the varied roles that parents play in the journey of bringing up their children ... it is about a different world altogether -- a world filled with the pangs and the joys of being parents.

Pradeep Singh and Mona Singh are a young couple living independently in Mumbai in a nuclear setup with their 3 kids- Bulbul (9), Rano (7) and Rajbir (5). They have been married for 10years now and they have dealt with several situations together in the past. Pradeep has stepped out of his father's business and house and wants to carve his own niche. Mona has stood by him in this endeavor. Inspite of that Pradeep and Mona's pot of joy is spilling over- they have 3 children and a life which revolves around work and children.Their biggest achievement, the children, is also what has created a wedge between them. Mona whose only priority was her husband today has 3 kids screaming for her attention and at times even demanding it. Hers is the classic case of a woman who ceases to play any other role except that of a mom

Вот моя деревня (Глава 2 - Загадка охотничьего ружья)

Формально это была лента «о современной колхозной деревне», к тому же — работа, на своем материале блистательно решавшая вечный вопрос: «фильм о детях» или «фильм для детей»? Главными героями его были сельские мальчишки и девчонки, их глазами виделись, показывались события, раскрывались и неизбывная поэзия деревенской жизни, и поэзия труда, и - то, что можно с полным правом называть самыми серьезными вопросами современности. Но делалось это очень весело, с иронией.Главная прелесть фильма была в том, что дети, оставаясь самими собой и ничуть не примеривая амплуа мудрецов в коротких штанишках, видели многое в окружающей их жизни более тонко, цепко, зорко, нежели их взрослое окружение. Последнее же исподволь представало перед глазами зрителей не как сонмище сложившихся социальных функций, психологических характеристик и т. п., но как ватага бывших детей, выросших, вынужденных эти самые функции выполнять и характеристикам соответствовать. Особенно выразительна была фигура председателя колхоза, этакого заматеревшего бывшего мальчишки, крутолобого и суетливого тугодума, вынужденного принимать оперативные решения, веровавшего в свою начальственную миссию и смешно реагировавшего на несоответствие жизни представлениям о ней. Makdee

Awarding Winning super hit Children's Movie Makdee (2002) Synopsis: Makdee is a mild adventurous thriller specially catering to children. Life in Chunnis village is all peace and quiet, and great fun. She fools the villagers including her parent with her impersonation of her twin sister, Munni. In the village, there is a mansion that is said to be haunted and legend goes that a witch called Makdee (Shabana Azmi) resides there. The legend has it that whosoever wonders into the mansion, comes out as an animal! No one in the village dares enter the mansion. Things are going fine for Chunni until the day one of her pranks gets quite out of hand. As a result of this, Munni, her docile sister, enters the mansion, where the witch turns the little girl into a hen! Chunni is hysterical when she discovers this. She runs from pillar to post to get help, but her credibility is at an all-time low and the entire village refuses to believe her, so Chunni finally enters the haunted mansion alone to search for her sister. In the mansion she comes face to face with the witch, she pleads with the witch to let her poor little sister go, as it was no fault of hers. But the witch asks her to strike a deal. She will turn Munni back into a human only if Chunni can acquire for her hundred hens in exchange. All of a sudden, Chunni is confronted with the biggest challenge of her life. How she over comes this task becoming the hero of the village in an unexpected climax is worth a watch.
