Super hit movie Revati (2005) Synopsis : This story is about a poor innocent rag picker girl, who has been brought up in the slums. She gets highly fascinated when she encounters a rich person and the modern amenities they have; a posh bathroom with ample of water to bathe and nice clothes to wear. She was obsessed with having a clean bath. She had to use a public tap where Urchins & Old men would try to peep at her naked body. Her only clothing was a wrap around cloth.One day she decides to leave home, in search of her own destiny. Every step she takes towards making her dream world a reality, she meets an exploiter and becomes prey to them, but she still goes on fighting and never compromises for anything. Her heart is broken when she realizes her dream is no reality. It is just like a horizon, which never exists; it`s only an illusion of the eye. It`s like looking for water in a desert and she returns back to her world happy.

Vicky (Salman Khan) lives a wealthy lifestyle with his widower dad, JB, in India. Since he has matured, his dad would like him to get married to Sonia (Sheeba), who is the daughter of his friend, DD, who is an Archeologist, currently looking for artifacts in Sangramgarh. Vicky and Sonia like each other and have no qualms of getting married. Then a series of events shake-up the crew at the site at Sangramgarh as they find that what appears to be an underground palace. The locals are superstitious and afraid of what they happen if they start digging and would prefer to leave the past alone. They may well be right as an ancient, ageless and cruel entity, Rajkumari Suryalekha (Amrita Singh), who at one time actually reared a half-man half-beast, cannibals and man-eating beasts to defeat and kill all her suitors as she hated men, save and except for Vikram Singh (Salman Khan), who was able to emerge victorious, but ended up rejecting her as she had his friend, Amar Singh, killed. Now she awaits to be resurrected so that she may claim her lover and avenge her humiliation as well end the curse that her mother had put upon her. And Vikram Singh resembles none other than Vicky himself - who is well on his way to be drawn into her dark world - and there is no power on Earth that can stop her from having her way.

Hindi Bollywood movie Paras (1971). Synopsis: Dharam Singh is a honest farmer in rural India, and lives with his sister, Bela, who is now of marriageable age. One day both brother and sister witness a murder, and haul the killer to the nearest police station, where the killer is charged, arrested, and held for court. The killer is none other than the powerful and influential Arjun Singh's brother. When Arjun comes to know about Dharam and Bela being the only witnesses to this murder, he attempts to bribe them, albeit in vain, and his brother is sentenced to be hanged. In order to escape Arjun's wrath, Dharam relocates to the city, to earn a living, and thereby help his sister get married. Arjun sets fire to Dharam's house in the village, abducts Bela, and attempts to rape her, but she escapes, and goes in search of Dharam. After several months, she spots Dharam in the city in the company of a rich woman, Barkha. When she goes up to Dharam, he refuses to recognize her.
