Eurotrip

Ohio high school student Scott Thomas is a good student and nice guy - albeit a little predictable - who is about to graduate and go into pre-med. He is unceremoniously dumped by his whorish girlfriend Fiona on graduation day. Among the people he turns to in his hour of despair is his German pen pal, Mike. Scott and Mike seem to have a special connection. After Mike makes advances to Scott now that he and Fiona are not seeing each other, Scott abruptly sends Mike a message saying he never wants to hear from him again. However, Scott learns shorty thereafter that Mike is actually a beautiful girl named Mieke. By this time, Mieke has blocked his messages. Thinking that Mieke is actually who he was meant to be with, Scott, impulsively for a change, decides to go to Berlin to be with her. Along for the ride is Scott's best friend, the girl crazy Cooper Harris. They manage only to get a flight into London, and thus have to make their way from London to Berlin. Along the way in Paris, they run into their high school friends, twins Jenny and Jamie, who are backpacking through Europe. Scott and Cooper consider them the most mismatched twins ever, Jamie who is a walking encyclopedia, and Jenny a girl who they treat as just one of the guys. As the four try to make their way to Berlin, they run into a few obstacles and few adventures. Scott hopes that all these problems are worth it when he has his much hyped in his mind meeting with Mieke.

Shante Scott Franklin, born April 4, 1981, better known by his stage name Curren$y, is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. Curren$y signed with Amalgam Digital to release his debut album, This Ain't No Mixtape, in 2009. Curren$y also released his second album, Jet Files, through Amalgam Digital in 2009 Curren$y's third album, Pilot Talk, was released on July 13, 2010. Prior to the album's release, there was news of Pilot Talk being released under a newly relaunched Roc-A-Fella Records.However, Curren$y stated in interviews with both XXL and Complex Magazine that the album would be released under Damon Dash's DD172 record label division, BluRoc Recordsand distributed through Def Jam Recordings. Curren$y makes numerous appearances on labelmate Ski Beatz' debut studio album, 24 Hour Karate School, which was released on September 21, 2010. Curren$y's fourth album, Pilot Talk II, was released on November 22, 2010and it featured Fiend and Raekwon, among others. On February 1, 2011 it was announced that Curren$y signed and secured a label deal with Warner Bros for his imprint, Jet Life Recordings. He has hopes to drop disc by his artist Trademark Da Skydiver, Young Roddy and Street Wiz. Curren$y will release his fifth album Muscle Car Chronicles on March 15. One of the best pilots ever, regardless the political regime she lived in. Hanna Reitsch, Nazi Germany's celebrated woman test pilot who had flown the VI rocket bomb in sub orbital flight in the early 1940's -- 20 years before the first American spaceman -- was actually history's first astronaut. Hanna started with gliders. Her passion for the air soon overtook her interest in medicine, and she left medical school to become a full-time glider pilot (Germany had been forbidden to build "war planes" after WWI, which meant that most of the planes constructed in Germany were built without engines). She went on to become an instructor in gliding at the Horngerb in Swabia and also worked as a stunt pilot in films, but she really distinguished herself in competition. She soon became Nazi Germany's ideal woman, young and vivacious, daring and highly publicized by the Nazi propaganda machine. If she hadn't been on the losing side and if she had been later willing to admit the horrors of the Nazi regime, Hanna Reitsch would be honoured in history books as the greatest woman pilot. At a time when women were expected to stay in the kitchen, she was one of the world's top glider pilots. She held 40 world aviation records, was the first to cross the Alps in a glider, first to fly a helicopter and first to fly a jet plane. On 25 February 2009, Turkish Airlines Flight 1951 crashed 1.5 kilometers from the runway at Schiphol in Amsterdam after suffering a stall. Nine people were killed including the three cockpit crew. A faulty radio altimeter caused the plane's computer to automatically reduce engine throttle prematurely in anticipation of landing, and the flight crew failed to notice the drop in airspeed until it was too late. Type of aircraft: Boeing 737-8F2. Cause of disaster: Stall, Faulty radio altimeter, Pilot error.

The Wright brothers' Flyer had a wingspan of 12.3 metres and weighed 274 kg. 82 kg came from its 12 hp engine. Orville Wright flew the first controlled powered flight in a heavier-than-air aircraft at 1035 hrs on December 17th, 1903. He flew 36.6 metres in 12 seconds at a speed of 10.9 km per hour. In comparison to this first flight, the Airbus A400M military transport plane has a wingspan of 42.4 metres, an overall length of 45.1 metres and has a maximum take-off weight of 141000 kg. It can carry 37000 kg of cargo and 50500 kg of fuel. At 17.71 metres, the cargo hold is 5 metres longer than Orville Wright's first flight. The cargo bay is 4 metres wide and almost 4 metres tall. Orville Wright flew at a height of around 3 metres. The A400M flies at an altitude of up to 11300 metres. The Flyer's 12 hp engine powered two wooden propellers which were around 2.5 metres in diameter. The A400M has four 11000 hp engines driving four eight-bladed composite propellers that are 5.3 metres in diameter. Each engine is 3.5 metres long and weighs around 1900 kg. Against the Flyer's 10.9 km per hour, the A400M flies at speeds up to 780 km per hour. The Wright Flyer's undercarriage was a simple ski.
