The totally Michael Jackson centric episode kicked off with a Wanna Be Startin Somethin performance led by Blaine, arguably the best of the whole night. The New Directions decides they want to tribute MJ for regionals which is great until Sebastian announces that the Warblers have stolen their whole set list. So the Glee club challenges them to a sing off in a parking garage, which sadly ends with Blaine getting hit with a doctored up slushy that ends up cutting his cornea and requiring surgery! This is where we see Artie go off the deep end, and in a dream like sequence he and Mike Chang perform Scream in a black and white music video setting. Who knew Artie had such moves?! Meanwhile Quinn finds out she got into Yale, and encourages Rachel to look to her future and dump Finn. Sam and Mercedes also do their first duet together in the auditorium, sharing a kiss at the very end. More college news comes for Kurt—he discovers he's a finalist at NYADA, but Rachel freaks out that her letter hasn't come yet. She then finally gives Finn an answer to his proposal...and it's YES! Santana decides to get revenge on Sebastian by recording him admitting he doctored Blaine's slushy with rock salt, but the New Directions decides instead to invite the Warblers to their auditorium for a Black and White performance. In the end, the Warblers realize how dumb this ... |
