| The 17 year Cicada is back in central Illinois. I have zillions of these cute yet creepy little buggers in my yard. And boy can they make some noise. ;-) You'd think the brainiacs at Google could write a blog app that works right. Apparently not, so here is my reply ... can they bite? Had to google that. ;-) They don't bite, but they have a pointy straw-type mouth that they use to drink fluids from trees. So a thirsty one might poke you if it thinks you're a tree, but they are not aggressive at all. They're just creepy since they are so big ... imagine millions of flies each about 2 inches long.
