Robot Quadrotors Perform James Bond Theme

Flying robot quadrotors perform the James Bond Theme by playing various instruments including the keyboard, drums and maracas, a cymbal, and the debut of an adapted guitar built from a couch frame. The quadrotors play this "couch guitar" by flying over guitar strings stretched across a couch frame; plucking the strings with a stiff wire attached to the base of the quadrotor. A special microphone attached to the frame records the notes made by the "couch guitar". These flying quadrotors are completely autonomous, meaning humans are not controlling them; rather they are controlled by a computer programed with instructions to play the instruments. Penn's School of Engineering and Applied Science is home to some of the most innovative robotics research on the planet, much of it coming out of the General Robotics, Automation, Sensing and Perception (GRASP) Lab. This video premiered at the TED2012 Conference in Long Beach, California on February 29, 2012. Deputy Dean for Education and GRASP lab member Vijay Kumar presented some of this groundbreaking work at the TED2012 conference, an international gathering of people and ideas from technology, entertainment, and design. The engineers from Penn, Daniel Mellinger and Alex Kushleyev, have formed a company called KMel Robotics that will design and market these quadrotors. After a long time, hehehe How to fly RC Heli for beginners, 6 Channel helis lessons are here. In fact these are just few methods I used when I started with Helis and I did not have any RC Simulator. Simulators like Realflight G3.5 make great difference and you learn to fly Helis or planes in a week and become pro in a month, but if you do not have RC Sims, then it takes lots of patience and lots of practice. Like how does a cell know if its supposed to be a cell for the surface of our skin, a brain cell, a muscle cell, etc? EVA Air BR 32 Taipei to JFK (non-stop) Boeing 777-300ER

EVA Air flight BR 32 Date: April 16, 2012 Destination: New York JFK (14 hours. 17 minutes flying time, 8875 miles) Aircraft: Boeing 777-300ER Registration: B-16711 Load factor: 100% Takeoff: 7:47pm Landing: 10:03pm (12 hour time difference) Seat#: 46A The thrid and final leg of my return trip home from the Philippines. The non-stop flight from Tapei to JFK is (according to wiki) ranked 19th on the top 30 longest non-stop passenger flights with an average distance of 8700 miles and a flying time of a little over 14 hours. It is also EVA Air's longest current non-stop flight. I don't know how you'd feel to be in a plane for over half a day, but I actually like it (probably because I'm used to it). All my classmates at school were like :0 The vast majority of them have traveled only as far as Florida. They're all amazed on how I was able to handle a 14 hour flight that not only crossed the Pacific but crossed the lower 48 (west to east) as well. **AVOD wasn't working properly, so it never showed the flying time.**
