Toronto St. Patrick's Day Flashmob by Tourism Ireland

Tourism Ireland, together with the 100-member newchoir, Maureen's Reel Irish Dancers and the Celtic Dance Centre, surprised and delighted an unsuspecting public with a Glee-style performance of Irish favourites "Beautiful Day" by U2, "Brown-eyed Girl" by Van Morrison and "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto. The performance was coordinated by Tourism Ireland, Scott Pietrangelo, Maureen Mulvey O'Leary and filmed and edited by Casey and Kody McWilliams with additional camerawork by Nathan Legiehn and Brook McWilliams.

Hastily Made Cleveland Tourism Video: 2nd Attempt

twitter.com So The Cleveland Board of Tourism was not happy with the first video that I turned in. In fact, they said that upon viewing it, three of the board members moved away. They insisted that I turn in a proper Cleveland tourism video, otherwise they will pursue litigation. So I was really planning on buckling down and giving it my all this time, but there was a "Rock of Love" marathon on VH1 last night that I didn't want to miss, so I cranked this video out in even less time than the first one. Tourism industry suffers big losses in Tunisia

Tunisia's tourism minister says his country has lost almost half of its European tourists since the revolution a year ago. An Australian women has survived a dramatic bungee jump near Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, which went wrong after the cord snapped. Watch More: www.youtube.com January 2005 Alaska's sleepy fishing villages are being overwhelmed by hordes of cruise ship tourists. The sheer size of the invasion is creating unease amongst locals. The Alaskan town of Skagway all but died when the gold rush ended 100 years ago. "Unemployment was over 55%, the railroad had closed down and people were just down on their luck," recalls resident Buckwheat Donoghue. But today things are very different. The town has a new lease of life and has been revived by tourism. In summer, tourists out number residents here by nine to one. While locals welcome the tourist dollars, there's growing concern about the environmental pollution they bring. "The ships generate thousands of gallons of waste and tonnes of garbage," complains environmentalist Gershon Cohen. Others fear the character of their home towns are being destroyed.
