Saas Bina Sasuraal - Episode 246 - 22nd December 2011

"Taanya is a beautiful, intelligent and multi-faceted computer science student in Mumbai. As she is about to pass out of college, her parents begin to talk about her marriage. That's when she tells them that she likes a boy called Tej and wants to marry him. Tej also loves her but is reluctant to accept the proposal because of a problem in his family. While he does not want to cheat her by keeping the truth from her, he is scared of losing her if he tells her about his family's problem. His friends try to convince him that every family has some problem so he need not even mention it to Taanya. Finally, when Tej and Taanya's families meet, there seems to be no problem and the proposal is mutually agreed upon. A grand wedding takes place and Taanya arrives in her sasuraal. The moment of shock come when all the rituals and ceremonies are over and the guests are all gone. Taanya realizes that Tej's household is full of men, just men. All the chachis, mamis, buas etc who attended the wedding had all gone and she was the only woman in the house. Taanya does not know how to handle this. Though in college days she was never uncomfortable among boys and she grew up with a brother, this was another feeling altogether. A life always surrounded by only men -- all strangers to begin with -- looks unimaginable. She stays put anyways but within twenty four hours she realizes that these men are like pebbles on a beach -- all different from each other and rubbing each other sour. She ...

Crime Patrol - Manager Kunal Kashyap Goes Missing - Episode 10 - 28th May 2011

Kashyap family who resides in Pushpa Vihar, Delhi was a happy family which included 2 brother's Aditya and Kunal, 2 small kids, and Aditya's wife. Kunal was not married and he use to work in a marriage bureau. He gets a call and never returns back. Aditya files a police complaint as his brother was missing. Employees disclose that he went to meet his boss Dhanraj Pandey. Kunal's phone was switch off from since two days. Cops investigates his boss and his driver. Cops comes to know that Dhanraj's manager Farhan was also missing. Cops visit Uttar Pradesh to visit Dhanraj's wife Kalpana's house. Cops traces Kunal's phone. Cops identified a dead body which was of Kunal. Who killed Kunal? Dhanraj Pandey? or his wife Kalpna? CRIME PATROL is a reality series. However the case presentation would be a story telling form that would have the interest of a fiction drama presentation. The prelude and finale to the case would make the case a complete story. Interactions with the analysts on the show would be treated with the audience interest point of view keeping it only as much as essential to the story telling. Going beyond the drama of police action in a crime situation, the show also aims to look into the "why" behind a crime. Police action on one hand gives the show the edge of how the law keepers bring the culprits to book or stop a crime from being committed. On the other hand, the show will also be looking at the sociological aspect behind a crime- both from the victim as well ...

Sorna Regai - Marma Desam - Episode 6

Sorna Regai which means golden lines is about the study of horoscope, palmistry, face-reading and crystal gazing etc. that have always been an enigma. The opinion on them has been divided - while some believe in this study, the others do not. The serial 'Sorna Regai' is about futuristic predictions of Bhaskar Das, a research scholar in palmistry. He predicts a long life of ninety years to a convict about to be hanged in two days. Anwar, an honest and upright police officer, does not believe in Bhaskar Das's prediction. Lingam, the younger brother of Bhaskar Das, runs his life based on his predictions. His wife, Kamalam, is pregnant. There are some others like jailor Perumal, Chettiar and his daughter Manga who believe in his predictions. The episodes leave the viewers oscillating between belief and disbelief.
