Since Shawn Michaels refused to defend the Intercontinental title against other competitors, President Jack Tunney had no other alternative, but to suspend Michaels, and strip him of the title. A fair decision was to vacant the championship, and put it up for grabs in a 20-Man over-the-top-rope battle royal. This match was televised on October 3, 1993. Participants Include: 1.
