2011 London 'No Trousers' Underground Ride

Since 2002, the superb Improv Everywhere team has organised a day where New Yorkers ride the subway without trousers. We're now doing it over here, and this is the story of the class of 2011. Shot handheld and undercover (without rig) on a Canon 7D with a Sigma 30mm f1.4 and Tokina 11-16mm f2.8. Wish my zoom wasn't in lens hospital.

No Pants AZ 2009

The following description was taken from: improveverywhere.ning.com Improv Everywhere is a national group that has done group freezes, MP3 experiments, and a ton of brilliant group improv events in public settings. Since 2002 they have had an annual No Pants Day where they get a bunch of people to ride public transportation wearing colorful underwear, acting like everyone just happened to forget their pants and there isn't anything particularly odd. For No Pants Day 2009 they are trying to get other cities to participate. Magically, Phoenix will have our light rail working by then, which has to be an omen if I've ever seen one.

Improv In Toronto - Subway Dance Party 2.5

Improv In Toronto Presents The Subway Dance Party... 2.5. This is MY version of the whole event. If you're unfamiliar with the Subway Dance Party, its a very easy concept. Once on the subway, a couple people will begin dancing while listening to music on their mp3 players. At first they get weird looks, and a lot of people laughing at them. Slowly though, more people begin joining in on the dance. Over the next couple stops the dance party gains in size, until the whole subway is in motion, and yet this is all done silently! There was no music played on the train. Everyone provided their own music played on their MP3 players.
