| Janice "The Doll" Maddy makes another appearance in this video, and in fact, she is the DNP (Designated Near Point) at 2 feet away from the camera. Pray she's in focus. Hey, it's a Sony Bloggie... don't expect perfection. :) Aside from a very irritating lawn mower, I talk about some very important stereoscopic facts, some of which are very often misunderstood. The near point in this one is 2 feet away from the camera and the far point is 8 feet away. NetD should be very close to 3.33%, as always in my shots. :) I also talk about and demonstrate cluttering up the depth with objects, to insure a cool-looking 3D scene. If you don't have stuff to look at, it's not gonna look cool! DOH! Probably the most important things I talk about and demonstrate are the floating windows, zero parallax and the stereo window, and yes, by definition, you can have more than one floating window, since the left and right edges can be placed at two different depths. Also, the "stereo window" is not necessarily placed at zero parallax (the actual position of the physical screen). Just watch the video and you should get it... that's why I made it... ;/ |
