The RPG-7 in Hollywood movies compilation

All the RPG-7 scenes in all of the movies i can gather enjoy! NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED! The real Soviet built RPG-7 launcher has never really appeared in many US films (until recently). There were no real de-watted examples in most of the movie prop houses (or armories). In films like Red Dawn and Back to the Future the RPG-7s are fully fabricated fakes, made out of aluminum, plastic fibreglass or wood. The only true RPG-7s that appeared in films for years were foreign ones that used foreign armorers. Currently, the expensive Airsoft RPG-7 replica, resin fakes of varying quality, and the false one used by the US military for training purposes are seen quite a bit in movies and films in which they're not required to fire. When the RPG fires, it is a fabricated fake, designed to fire a pyrotechnic special effects rocket. One of the reasons why these items were hard to obtain was restrictions imposed by the ATF, however recently Soviet manufactured dewatted RPG-7s have been coming into the country for sale. The Type 69 anti-tank rocket launcher is a Chinese copy of the RPG-7, that is often seen in many Hollywood movies, sometimes impersonating its Russian cousin. The vast majority of RPG-7 launchers in cinema and television is the Chinese Type 69 launcher, not the original Soviet RPG-7 since until recently, it was nearly impossible to get. This is video from the Pyrotechnic Guild International convention Mason City Iowa 2009. If you love fireworks you should consider joining the PGI. In this video series we see what all is for sale in one of the many convention areas. Most of these vendors have web sites but it is always nice to see things in person. You will hear a detailed explanation of a few of the firing systems including FireOne and PyroMagic. If you plan on coming to a convention plan on bringing cash because that is how most of the business is done here.

Freelance Whales - Enzymes

Hailing from Queens, Freelance Whales (Judah, Chuck, Doris, Kevin, and Jake) have been treating lucky New Yorkers to their signature guerilla performances -- spontaneous shows in atypical settings like train stations, street corners and yes, barns -- since their early days of becoming a five-piece and releasing their much-loved debut Weathervanes. "Enzymes" is the band's latest musical creation, reminiscent of their signature indie-pop but with a new darkness echoing its contemplative lyrics. This video was mostly shot live on a pyrotechnic stage. We used a Weisscam HS-2 to shoot at 2000fps for the rain, flower explosion and fuse shots. The only artificial visual effects are the face explosion, bubble transformation and smoke to body bag transformation.
