| On September 11, 2010 427 longboarders took to the streets of downtown Toronto. I was number 162! This is an annual event called The Board Meeting. It is organized online but is not organized with the city. We were riding for approximately 2 ½ hours with 3 breaks. It was soooo much fun but very tiring! Yes we did cause some havoc but we also stirred up some excitement on the sidelines! Hundreds of people were stopping on the sidewalks to cheer us on, take pictures, and video. This event keeps growing ever year. People from all over Canada and USA come to join in the fun! I met alot of great people and look forward to next year. My setup is an Original Skateboards Hybrid 35 Deck, S6 Trucks with black springs, Red Retro Zig Zags 70mm 78a Duro Wheels, and Bones Red Bearings. Take it to the streets!!! |
