The Garages of Korea: High Rises and Exotic Cars

(Sorry for extremely long description, I just had a lot to say) I've wanted to make this type of video for a while. When car-spotters usually upload videos, it's only the vehicle, and most of the time nothing else belonging to the owner. This video is a bit different because I show the cars, and the owner's house. Korea is a small country, and very mountainous and rugged. Because of this, average suburban houses where you would find in America or Europe are extremely rare and expensive. Here everything is built up. These apartments and high rises can get from villas that are only a few floors tall, to soaring skyscrapers topping out at 60-70 floors. In my video, you will see the high rises in my 'neighborhood', which is a strip of road carving in and out from the coast and the ocean (I like to refer this as the Speed Stretch because there is no speed limit on the road, and every time I looked out my window I would see exotics lined alongside it and accelerate really fast!). The buildings have spectacular views, depending on what they're overlooking; on one side you would see the beach and the ocean. On the other you would see the amazing suspension bridge and the mountains. Take note that in each of these buildings lives hundreds of people, so a 'neighborhood' would really be just an apartment. CN Tower, Toronto, Ontario - Kanada HD

English see below [dt.] Vor der glitzernden Fassade des Finance and Business Districts erhebt sich gleich neben dem Rogers Centre der gewaltige 553 m hohe CN Tower, das Wahrzeichen von Toronto in Ontario, Kanada. Auf dem CN-Tower richtet sich der Blick automatisch zuerst auf die Skyline der Downtown mit den mächtigen Hochhäusern der Banken, Versicherungen und Consulting Unternehmen. In diesem Bereich befinden sich aber auch das Parlamentgebäude, das neue Rathaus und das Universitätsgelände. Weiter westlich ist die Chinatown und der Kensington Market zu erkennen. An der Südseite liegt der Ontario See mit den Toronto Islands, ein Naherholungsgebiet mit Stränden, Wassersportmöglichkeiten, Marinas, Restaurants und kleinen Vergnügungsstätten. Sehr gut ist das Historic Fort York von 1783 zu erkennen, das als Ursprung Torontos gilt. Die größte Attraktion auf der Aussichtsplattform ist der Glasboden. Auch wenn der Verstand sagt, dass er sicher ist, so ist es doch ein seltsames Gefühl, auf den leicht schwingenden Glasplatten zu stehen und den Blick 346 m abwärts schweifen zu lassen. Aber es geht noch höher, auf das Sky Pod in 447m Höhe. Von hier hat man einen schönen Blick auf das Rogers Centre, eine multifunktionale Sportarena für 54.000 Zuschauer. Bis 2005 wurde das Rogers Centre als SkyDome bezeichnet. Das Dach des Rogers Centre lässt sich bei günstigen Wetterverhältnissen innerhalb von 20 min öffnen. I Believe I can Fly - Skyliners - Alpina Watches - A film by Sebastien Montaz

This feature documentary was shot last summer. Sebastien Montaz has been filming the Skyliners and their Alpina watches on an incredible exploration into the world of free flight. Tancrède, Julien, Seb and Antoine are pioneers in 'highlining' - a vertiginous combination of climbing, slackline and tightrope walking. They travelled from their home in Chamonix to their training ground in the Verdon gorge, testing the limits for our ultimate goal... They rigged highlines on the skyscrapers of Paris, and finally came to the spectacular cliffs and fjords of Norway. Months of training led the Skyliners team to attempt their dream of complete freedom... the freedom of flight !
