| Hundreds of mourners gathered today to pay tribute to a brother and sister murdered in a deliberate fire at their home in Helensburgh. The mother of Bridget and Thomas Sharkey, who was the sole survivor of the blaze, joined friends and family for the funeral service which was described as a celebration of the lives of her precious children. In other news; A man has been killed in a gangland execution in Neilston. 48-year-old John Finnigan, who was shot in the face, had just dropped his daughter off at a Halloween party .
