We claimed that the MTA had hired us to take photos of every single person who rides the subway and that we'd be producing a yearbook at the end of the year. Most people were happy to pose for us, and the resulting photos show just how diverse New York subway riders can be. In other news: an Edinburgh woman who took part in the first ever Scottish Moon Walk has become the first patient to be treated at a new unit partly funded by the event itself; new tougher security measures are being piloted at properties belonging to Edinburgh City Council following a spate of metal thefts across the city; and in sport, Craig Levein says Denmark are the ideal opponents ahead of next month's European Championship qualifiers against Czech Republic and Lithuania.
