Dubai Fountain - Mehad Hamed: Sama Dubai

Set on the 30-acre Burj Dubai Lake, the fountain shoots water jets as high as 500 ft (150 metres), equivalent to that of a 50-storey building. The fountain is 900 ft (275 metres) long and has five circles of varying sizes and two central arcs. It has been designed by California-based WET, the creators of the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas.

For those complaining about similarity to Bellagio fountains - while those are as beautiful, both systems were manufactured by Wet Design, same company, please contact them directly to discuss their business model, ie selling what they do to whoever orders it.

Burj Dubai / Burj Khalifa grand opening

A video of my view of the launch of the Burj Dubai or "Burj Khalifa" as it is now called - complete with music, audience sounds, etc.. The tower has been revealed to be 828meters high - the tallest man-made structure on Earth. The building is so huge, I simply could not fit in the dancing fountains (also World's biggest) and the lower fireworks which you will hear as they build the atmosphere prior to the show. Skip to 3m25secs if you just want the action! Hard to describe the amazing atmosphere - the whole Downtown Burj area was completely rammed with excited people.
