| Second attempt at analysing my 'Not A Normal Plane' footage. Contrail: The contrail this thing left behind is the weirdest contrail I have ever seen. Assymetric, it is as if one set of engines is located at a very unusual spot. Or this thing is spraying something, or malfunctioning. I just don't know. There might have been some unusual atmospheric conditions, (sundogs galore), but that doesn't explain the absurd contrails. The 'plane' seems to be flying at a very high altitude, leaving behind a disproportionate large contrail. As you can see in the original video, it was a sunny day and apart from this contrail, none were to be seen. (Except a few, far away at the horison). Strange, since this was recorded at a location where there are lots of contrails, or none.... (Busy air traffic zone, probably a route) Looking at this thing zoomed in it seems that the 'plane' fuses with the contrail to the left and that the contrail to the right doesn't have a place of origin at all. Analysis: In this video the 'plane' is 'motion tracked', ie put on one particular spot in the frame. There are some glitches, though only a few, and they are small and not disrupting. The motion tracking took away a little (tiny) bit of resolution. Also at some places the brightness and contrast is adjusted in order to enhance details. At real-time speed this 'plane' glitters a lot and very fast, and at first glance this seems to be caused by atmospheric conditions. But slowed down this thing starts to ... |
