| Specially for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, here is a drawing of Her Majesty for you. This was my 5th take (you can see the others at the end) I think this is the best, but it's still not quite the Queen. She is known to be very hard to do a portrait of. Obviously I'm working from a Photograph, so I can't see the details of her bone structure and the lighting is terrible for drawing too. Think I need to work out a new way of filming - I can't really see the drawing while I'm doing it! Still, it shows how I go about drawing the different features, and understanding her hairstyle is not easy at all. with award winning illustrator, Shoo Rayner, who has illustrated well over 200 children's books for famous authors and for his own stories.
