Burned Alive It Happens!!!

A top surgeon set an unconscious patient on fire during an operation after sparks from his electronic scalpel caused an 'explosion.' Enrique Ruiz suffered second degree burns on his neck and chest before medics were able to put out the blaze, the New York Post reported. New York's Lincoln Hospital are accused of trying to cover up the incident after it was revealed that the fire was not mentioned in a post-surgery review and the victim's family were told 'it happens' when shocked by Ruiz's burns. On April 19 Dr Jay Yelon, the chief of surgery at the Hospital, was performing a tracheotomy to insert a breathing tube when his electronic scalpel came too close to Ruiz's oxygen supply and caused a 'minor explosion', hospital insiders told the Post. Waking up in extreme pain Ruiz told his brother, 'I feel like my chest was on fire.' Sources claim that Yelon did not mention the fire in a post-surgery report and said the flames were put out with 'no danger to the patient'. Accidents that harm patients must be reported to the state Health Department immediately. Spokesman Peter Constantakes told the Post the incident was initially reported as 'harmless' but then confirmed the fire was being investigated. The patient's family were appalled when they saw the huge burns over Ruiz's chest but one doctor reportedly dismissed the injuries as 'like a sunburn'. Kalyani calls up Aakash and tells him to reach hospital asap. Aakash comes down to leave just then Angana tells him the truth. Aakash feels disappointed and goes back to the room. Angana feels devastated and falls asleep on the dinner table. Raichand calls up Pannu and tells that he wants to talk to Angana. Heeru hands her the phone. Angana lies to him that they had great time. Raichand decides to come back home. Chandana hears her conversation with Raichand. Both sisters stare at each other, pained. Chandana pacifies her and tells her that she has only 2 options either make it work or let it go. Angana goes to the room and tries to help him but he stops her from doing so. Angana continues with her work without saying anything, she requests Aakash to lie to Raichand that food was nice. Aakash says that he won't lie; he will only keep quit about the truth. Chandana feels all gharjamais are same. Everyone arrives home from hospital. Jharna is in an irritated mood, she asks for Aakash's absence at the hospital. Angana and Jharna go on arguing. Kalyani takes Jharna's side. Raichand tells Kalyani not to blame Aakash just then Aakash comes down upset by what he has heard about himself. The man told the woman he had checked the computer at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Hospital management say there was no breach of patient confidentiality, but the cleaner has been suspended. And in sport; After being confirmed as Hibernian's new manager today, Pat Fenlon was remaining coy over Billy Brown's future at the club. Assistant boss Brown was in the running to succeed Colin Calderwood, but ex-Bohemians manager Fenlon got the nod from Rod Petrie.
