| **WATCH IN 720p HD!** Alright, so I don't even know where to start off with this description. All I can say is that ever since I first saw the video of Aivi Tran and Dave Harris' cover of Planet Wisp (nearly half a year ago), I could not stop watching it. Watching it over and over again was just so inspiring that I had to learn how to do MIDI sequencing. I wanted to do the exact same thing, except with a different track from the same game! I especially love how piano is incorporated, and luckily I discovered this tune to cover. Of course, I decided to add my own twist to this. For the second half of the recording, I've just been so inspired by several jazz pianists on YouTube, especially marasy8, 1236piano, kokoko6891, Shnabubula... My goodness! Constantly listening to their videos, I just HAD to arrange a jazzy section. I had no idea I would be able to play those sixteenth notes at the given tempo. I doubted myself at first, but I guess practice really does pay off! Notating the drums was the hardest part, so I pretty much took a drum loop and combined it with my crappy notated one. I also tried my best to get the nicest balance between all the instruments from volume automation to panning. It wasn't easy, but this was definitely a ... |
