This is my attempt at making a "Miami Vice" type music video. It is a compilation of scenes taken all around Dubai during April and December 2010, when we were there on vacation. Scenes from Festival City, Wafi City, Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai Metro, Ibn Battuta, Sheikh Zayed Road, Bur Dubai, Palm Jumeirah, Global Village, Dubai Creek and Dubai Desert Safari's are included in this video segment. Meraas Development, a new real estate developer, has burst on to Dubai's property stage with the announcement of its first-ever project worth a staggering Dh350 billion and involving one of the world's tallest buildings - with varied microclimates and a mini-Manhattan. Jumeirah Gardens will be a fully integrated, mixed-use development project located in the old Satwa area west of Sheikh Zayed Road and flanked by Al Diyafa Street and Safa Park. The project aims to cater to a population of 50000 to 60000 residents. The announcement comes amid a global market crash that has shattered investor confidence worldwide, but goes on to show that Dubai is determined to continue with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The development will redefine living in one of the most popular neighbourhoods of Dubai, currently undergoing demolition to pave the way for the new project. The project will comprise seven distinct areas, taking up approximately 110 million square feet of land, including the islands. One section will host Dubai Park, which will be half the size of Safa Park. Phase one of Jumeirah Gardens will cover around 820000 square metres. The Dubai Fountain Show

Set on the 30-acre Burj Khalifa Lake, the fountain shoots water jets as high as 500 ft (150 metres), equivalent to that of a 50-storey building. The fountain is 900 ft (275 metres) long and has five circles of varying sizes and two central arcs. It has been designed by California-based WET, the creators of the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas.

The Dubai Fountain is a record-setting choreographed fountain system set on the 30-acre manmade Burj Khalifa Lake, at the center of the Downtown Dubai development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was designed by WET Design, the California-based company responsible for the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel Lake in Las Vegas. Illuminated by 6600 lights and 25 colored projectors, it is 275 m (902 ft) long and shoots water 150 m (490 ft) into the air (equivalent to a 50-story building), accompanied by a range of classical to contemporary Arabic and world music.[1] It was built at a cost of AED 800 million (USD 218 million). The name of the fountain was chosen after a contest organized by the developer Emaar Properties, the result of which was announced on 26 October 2008.[2] Testing of the fountain began in February 2009,[3] and the fountain was officially inaugurated on 8 May 2009 along with the official opening ceremony of the Dubai Mall.
