Report: The 2010 East Coast Slingshot Tournament

The Slingshot Channel brings to you a report from the fantastic tournament held April29th through May 1st, 2010, in Alverton/PA. Many shooters gathered at the East Huntingdon Sports Club and had great fun in perfect weather. Thousands and thousands of slingshot rounds had been shot at the event, without any kind of accident! Everybody had great fun.

Slingbow with collapsible arrows!

Many friends of the outdoors like the idea to have a simple hunting weapon with them when they're backpacking. A bow and some arrows are very desirable, but then again this is bulky and heavy. This video shows Jörg Sprave's outdoor slingbow/slingshot survival bag. It contains - A slingbow (arrow shooting slingshot) - Three collapsible arrows - Three razor sharp broadhead tips - A Hunter Catapult slingshot - Ten steel balls - Spare bands and string - A small multi tool for changing bands in the field The whole bag weighs less than 3 pounds (about 1200 gramms). The slingbow shown in this video is built around a so-called "whisker biscuit", the core of a popular arrow rest for bows. It does the job very well, but it had to be reinforced with steel in order to make it strong enough.

Brand New Slingshot: "The Rod"

This is the first video featuring a new slingshot invention. The slingshot has no fork, a special shooting technique is employed. The device is made out of steel pipe, the rubber and also some ammo can be stored inside of the grip. This new slingshot is really different and its compact size is very appealing.

How did you do that? - last week i was messing around when i discovered the best catapult i've seen in halo 3 so far.... behold: The elephant cannon text tut: you have to be connection host to do this. (it also works offline, without xbox live) step 1. flip the elephant (to do this you can use a scorpion or a closed drop pod) in forge. step 2. Place teleports all over the flipped elephant to make sure it can't flip back if you press RB. (you won't have to use as much as i did in this video. up to 4 well placed receiver nodes would be enough.) step 3. Place anything in the elephant. (vehicles, objects, yourself) step 4. 'Press RB to flip.... Wait, what?' anything that touches the elephant will shoot out of it with the speed of light. it's very usefull to sign a guest or 2nd controller in and put it next to the elephant to flip it with the spare controller if you're doing this alone. I can't put the map in my fileshare because the elephants just spawn at their regular spawn points. have fun flying. by: 2good4u2 (x 2900d4u x)
