It is designed to capture a broad range of generational demographics, but a specific section of the market solely catering to specialized recreational activities. The concentration includes water free solo climbing, cave water free solo climbing, free solo tree climbing, zip lining, cliff diving, high ropes tracks, bouldering, buildering, trad climbing, lead climbing and indoor court sports like tennis. The main floor of the building may also include a skate park with launch ramps into the foam pit. The concept includes providing lodging facilities for time shares, sub leasing and walk in overnight stays. Including adventure recreation activities with a large indoor/outdoor music venue will be a key element in program revitalization. I also wanted to create what I like to call an inverse facade. instead of looking up to the front of the building, future patrons would look down an into what the building holds. Another concept that I built into the design is the separation between long term and short term users via the two lobbies. This is done because of the operational aspects of administering amenities. There is also physical separation between the climbing areas and the bars. Obviously once a patron has been drinking it is unsafe to participate in high risk activities.
