Chhadiya Chann Samundron Par - Episode 17

"Chhadiya Chann Samundron Par" narrates the gulf between the Indian and Western lifestyles and beliefs and how a family of traditional Punjabi family tries to adjust to a young (and vice versa) born and raised in another country. It is a story of Gurdial Singh, who migrates to Punjab during the Partition and sets up a strong business empire with his hard work and perseverance. The strong enmity between his sons is the main cause of tension and turbulence in his life. The entry of Simran, a girl brought up in the West, as Gurdial Singh's grandson's wife, marks a change in this estranged family. Episode Synopsis : On finding Simran getting caught by some gang, a stranger helps her out and saves her from Avtar and his gang, and takes her to a hospital. Kuldeep forces Navjyot to find Simran and Navjyot is sure about Avtar being the culprit. Here the report is filed by the inspector for missing Simran, Avtar being the suspect.

Inspector Bhavani

Inspector Bhavani (Roopa Gangooli) is a sincere police officer whose allegiance lies only to the law. She garners respect from the people by saving a kidnapped judge from the hands of a notorious gang. She meets a retired journalist whose ambition is to cleanse the system of all corruption and offers to help her out any way he can. Bhavani wasn't always a cop, the reason for her life altering decision was the untimely death of her fiance who was an undercover CID officer. She carries with her the same passion for justice everyday. Bhavani's ultimate goal is to find the ones responsible for her fiance's death. While working on this case she stumbles upon a fact that shatters her world. She finds out that her brother is involved with the drug racketing gang that she is trying to bust. She asks for the help of a distraught cop, Vinod, whose own past involves the death of a loved one. Together with the help of the retired scribe they crack the case and finally raid the gang's hideout and kill their leader, DR, who killed Bhavani's fiance. In the process Bhavani also forcibly kills her brother in self-defense. The movie ends with Bhavani and Vinod vanquishing the evil in their society.

Venkatho Alivelu

Venkat comes from Vaizag to Hyderabad in search of job. Alivelu also joins in the same company whose managing director is MS Narayana. Company provides accommodation for both of them on temporary-share basis! They fall into trouble when a gang of Omkar runs after a person who holds the key map of a quest and that person leaves that info with the girl Alivelu incidentally at the time of chase which is she unaware of. To get the clue that gang tries to fix her somewhere on her way to the office. Venkat and Alivelu approach police to complain about the threat, horrified by the attempt of mobsters. The police inspector who tries to save the couple dies in that effort making the situation yet worse. How they get out of the trouble is the remaining story.

In other news: Scotland's Chief Inspector of Prisons has called for expulsion to be scrapped; a 57 year old man has been stabbed while trying to stop his neighbour's car from being stolen in Coatbridge; the family of 20 year old Jordan McGinty have appealed to their missing son to let them know he is safe; and in sport, Scotland could be without captain Darren Fletcher and vice captain Kenny Miller for this weekend's Euro 2012 qualifier against Liechtenstein. Dongalavanka is a place where people steal from neigbouring villages and make a living. The local administration has washed their hands off this hell hole. The only sane voice of the village is that of Veera Raghavulu (Vijaykanth), whose relatives are also is in the same profession but now they want to reform. As a child he was responsible for squealing to the police that his cousin Shankaraiah (Sampath) a juvenile has killed his own father! Now 20 years later Shankaraiah is out to take revenge on Veera Raghavulu, named after the powerful local deity is a Good Samaritan. He probes and finds out that the funds meant for the development of the village are being shared by the local bureaucracy led by RDO (Pyramid Natarajan) and his gang. The baddies are led by Shankaraiah, who gangs up with Mansoor Ali Khan and Aditya a police inspector to stop the reformist Veera Raghavulu. Now the film veers between screeching hysteria and mass action scenes which are gravity defying.
