DCS A-10C: Tutorial: Mark points and Weapons.

A base attack with explanation on how to make mark points and save them as waypoints. Also, the use of the GBU-12 lazer guided bomb, GBU-31, AGM-65D&H and the cannon. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ANNOTATIONS TURNED ON. After you have marked your targets, you can also skip saving them as a flight plan, without switching the CDU to 'Mark', by pressing the 'func' button on the UFC (the dash below the HUD) and then the number 8 to enter 'mark' mode. The mark points will then be available to be cycled as steerpoints. To return to your original flight plan, press 'func' and then the number 7 and finally 'steerpoint' on the CDU. Please ask if you have any questions or you think I've missed something. Next video will take at least until I work out the space problems with AVI video format. Thanks! Flight from Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Intl from runway 09L across the Atlantic ocean at FL330. Throughout the flight, there was a step climb to FL 365 as per FMC calculations. Descended toward Germany's Frankfurt Intl airport at 9:30 AM local and set up for a CAT II ILS landing on runway 09R. Took the high speed exit taxiway and maneuvered the beast to an empty gate where we shut off the engines. Addons used: Real Environment Xtreme Active Sky Advanced Ultimate Terrain X Ground Environment X PMDG 747-400X PMDG 747-8I Addon TrackIR 5 Flight is nothing fancy, just took off and wanted to use it as an example :) -- This is on my new system, so expect some real videos soon :) System Information: Intel Core i7 920 6GB Corsair DDR3 (1600) ATI Sapphire 5870 Gamer Edition (1GB) Corsair H50 Water cooling system Thermaltake 750W PSU Game setup: Saitek Yoke, 2x Throttle Quadrants, Rudder Pedals G35 headset Graphics Setup: 1680x1050 (times two) Global Texture resolution: Very High Level of detail radius: Medium Mesh Complexity: 75 Mesh resolution: 10m Texture resolution: 60cm Water Effects: Mid 1.x Scenery Complexity: Dense Autogen density: Dense Special Effects Detail: Hi Weather: Cloud draw distance: 70mi/112km Note: I could have Autogen set up higher, but I keep it at "Dense" as I fly into large areas such as KJFK, EGLL, etc on a regular basis and you get a rather big performance hit just by autogen -- I get best performance overall with Autogen set to DENSE. FRAPS NOTE: I get a performance hit for using FRAPS, so FPS is considerably lower when recording.
