| Savorengo Ker (that means "the home of everyone" in Romanes language) is an experimental project of collaborative building that took place in the roma camp of Casilino 900. It is the story of a simple and brave idea, that became the symbol of emancipation for a marginalized community. The project was housed at the Architecture Biennale in Venice, and was visited by several Members of the European Parliament, reviewed by the international press and debated in academia over the world, but in Rome, where the house was built and presented, met only hostility and unnecessary controversy. Now that house is gone.
