Reeps One, Lytos, Babeli & Alem - Beatbox in the Swiss Alpes (Appenzell Eben Alp) It was an amazing day when I had Reeps One from London in England (UK), Lytos from Mallorca in Spain, Babeli from Marburg in Germany and Alem from Lyon in France at my home in Saint Gallen. As some little part of the Swiss mountains is not far away by car from my home we decided to do some jams in the mountains. www.euronews.net Wearing 25 kilos of body protection, Christobal Huet starts his training as goalkeeper of the Fribourg ice hockey team in Switzerland. He gives an impression of explosive power speeding over the ice. But this is a very different kind of ice from that which Huet has skated on before -- it never melts, because it is synthetic. The experienced hockey player is impressed: "It feels like being on real ice. Anyway, for a goalkeeper, when you stop,accelerate, it's the same, even sliding on your knees, it's perfect. So it's really like ice."

The original Swiss folk music

The band Hannelimusig brings forgotten tunes back to life. For generations Swiss folk music was played by local musicians in private homes or at fairs in villages. It was mostly passed on orally. When records started being produced, traditional Swiss music was reduced to a more commercially oriented product. Thousands of old melodies would have been lost, had it not been for the efforts of Hanny Christen, who dedicated her life to original Swiss folk music. (Michele Andina, swissinfo.ch)

Aerofly FS - New kid's on the block ;)

A few weeks ago a new flight simulator was released by a company named 'IKARUS', who already built some RC-plane simulators. Their new edition is called 'Aerofly FS', and I couldn't resist in making a short video about it. Filming this clip was a little bit complicated, becaused I'm used to record and play back my flights, so that I can concentrate on the camera movements during capturing. But this simulator doesn't offer neither a record function nor self defined cameras, so the results may be a little bit weak compared to my fsx videos.
