| Foltin (Macedonian: Фолтин) is one of the most important Macedonian bands that exists since 1997. Foltin's music is hard to define, sounds unpredicateble and challenging: surreal, passionate and witty, dynamic, full of surprises and humorous, blending many different music genres: jazz, funk, bossa nova, ambient, and electro. It is characterized with a frantic dance atmosphere, which is achieved with the fast Macedonian rhythm. Live performances made Foltin famous, they are often theatrical (cabaret-like) and often turn into real performances. The lyrics is an imaginary mixture of phonetic imitation of languages like: Spanish, French, Romanian, and Portuguese. The band took part in many music and theatre festivals in Macedonia, Croatia, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Belgium, and France.
