| Princess Maja von Hohenzollern is the ambassador of ETN eV (www.etn-ev.de) .She protested against the killing of innocenst strays in Ucraine in preparation of the EURO EM 2012 football. Now she arrived at Kiev /Ucraine with a team of ETN-vets for sterilisation programs (neuter& release) for strays. Sterilisation is the only human and effectiv way to reduce the population of strays, killing is not a solution. She also spoke with the ucraine authorities and the UEFA to stop the killing of strays and to improve the situation for strays also for the future. Because there is so less empathy for strays and also for humans in Ucraine, Princess Maja and ETN eV did a ceremony in the St. Katherina church in Kiev for the victims of the dog murder, to remind people, that animals are part of creation and that they have a soul and that they should be treated with love and respect, but should not be killed. |
