Tupolev TB3 bomber - WW2 Soviet Film

The Tupolev TB-3 was a heavy bomber aircraft which was deployed by the Soviet Air Force in the 1930s and during World War II. It was the world's first cantilever wing four-engine heavy bomber. Despite being officially withdrawn from service in 1939, TB-3's performed bomber and transport duties through much of World War II. For more information on the Tu TB3 see: en.wikipedia.org As far as we are aware the original of this film was made by a division of the Red Army Air Force Scientific Research Institute, and as such we believe there are no copyrights on this material which is now over 60 years old.

Tupolev TU 144 S №77110

Part of the movie "Поэма о крыльях" ("Poem of wings") 1981. Director: Daniil Khrabrovitsky Writers: Daniil Khrabrovitsky, Anatoli Zakharov Stars: Vladislav Strzhelchik, Yuriy Yakovlev and Nikolai Annenkov Tupolev Tu-144 S registered CCCP-77110 to Aeroflot - Soviet Airlines. This aircraft was the second of the two planes used for regular passengers' flights on Moscow - Alma-Ata route. In 1977 flew to Paris to take part in the XXXII Paris Air Show at Le Bourget Airport. This was the last appearance of a TU-144 in West Europe. CCCP-77110 was the last plane produced of the model TU-144S powered with Kuznetsov NK-144A engines. In the first half of 2008 the cabin was open for visits and between August and September was restored and painted in the original Aeroflot livery.

CCTV video of Tupolev 154 deadly crash landing in Moscow

CCTV footage has been revealed of a dramatic crash landing of a passenger plane in Moscow. Investigators are examining the images for clues on the reasons behind Saturday's accident. The Dagestan Airlines plane suffered engine failure shortly after taking off from the Russian capital. Two died and more than 80 were injured when the Tupolev-154 crash landed, skidded off the runway and broke apart. Reports say passengers jumped from the wreckage, fearing the plane could explode. Investigators are looking at causes ranging from human error to frozen fuel and bad weather.

Tupolev TU 95 Bear 2

The Tupolev Tu-95 (Russian: Туполев Ту--95 NATO reporting name: Bear) is a large, four-engine turboprop-powered (four Kuznetsov NK-12), strategic bomber and missile platform. First flown in 1952, the Tu-95 entered service with the former Soviet Union in 1956 and is expected to serve the Russian Air Force until at least 2040. A naval development of the bomber is designated Tu-142.
