| Possibly the biggest character change is in Solo the Scottish Terrier. In the book, he was a Cairn Terrier with major socialization problems. He would go so far as to fight any dog that got in his way, and Butch was possibly the only dog who knew how to deal with him. Here, he's toned down to just being a grumpy dog who hates everybody. In the most drastic change from book to special, the subplot with Catlan and Caesar as villains is completely new. Do I need to mention the original has virtually no villains? |
