| The Bronze Boot is on the line as the Colorado State University Rams take on the rival Wyoming Cowboys in the annual Border War football game. 2011 marks the 102nd Border War battle between the teams. The Bronze Boot is a unique trophy that has been awarded every year since 1968. The boot is an actual combat boot worn in the Vietnam War by Capt. Jeff Romero, Sr., a CSU ROTC graduate. One of the game's great traditions is the annual Bronze Boot Run, which features the ROTC units from each school running the game ball to the host school's stadium.
