Tupolev Tu-154 flight on Vatsim (LOWI-EPWA)

If you would like some music in the background try the video reply. This is a freeware aircraft from Project Tupolev. The flight was made on Vatsim network. During the approach my hydraulic system failed. I had to start auxillary pumps to get at least nose wheel steering. Unfortunately I had almost no braking action at all and hardly managed to stop before end of the runway.

Iran Air Tour Tu-154M - Takeoff Rwy 29R from Tehran Mehrabad International Airport (THR), Iran

Takeoff from Rwy 29R at Tehran Mehrabad International Airport (THR) bound for Mashad Shahid Hashemi Nejad International Airport (MHD) onboard Iran Air Tour's B9-960 service. The aircraft is EP-MBQ and the flight took place in November 2009. A company ship is at the holding point of Rwy 29R, and in the distance you can see Tehran city. Also note the small bird flying past just after takeoff.

2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154 crash

This video clip shows the beginning of the "investigation" by Russian authorities. The 2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154 crash occurred on 10 April 2010, when a Tupolev Tu-154M aircraft of the Polish Air Force crashed near the city of Smolensk, Russia, killing all 96 people on board. These included the Polish president Lech Kaczyński and his wife, the chief of the Polish General Staff and other senior Polish military officers, the president of the National Bank of Poland, Poland's deputy foreign minister, Polish government officials, 12 members of the Polish parliament, senior members of the Polish clergy, and relatives of victims of the Katyn massacre. They were en route from Warsaw to attend an event marking the 70th anniversary of the Katyn massacre; the site of the Katyn massacre being approximately 19 kilometres (12 mi) west of Smolensk.
