Baltimore: The Wire locations, part one

As The AV Club discovered, there's an upside to having much of your perception of Baltimore come from The Wire: The city is a lot nicer than you'd expect. Yes, we understood on a realistic level that Baltimore wasn't just blocks upon blocks of Hamsterdam, but we were a little surprised by how charming Fells Point was when we arrived to meet Wire location scout Eric Bannat. Of course, right in the middle of Fells Point is the run-down building that was the headquarters for Homicide: Life On The Street. (Apparently it's being turned into a hotel.) It has a giant plaque out front to commemorate the show. For the first of our two-part Pop Pilgrims on The Wire—you didn't think we could cram it all into one episode, did you?—Bannat took us to a bunch of spots that fans of the show should instantly recognize. From the basketball courts to the dog-fighting warehouse, from Marlo's corner to the cops' favorite hangout, everything is right there for any pop pilgrim to check out. (Many of the big interiors, of course, were sets, but you'll still feel like Bodie's sidekick walking around this neighborhood.) On Wednesday, another whole bunch of locations you can visit in Bodymore, including the spot where—spoiler alert!—Omar got dropped.

While the team investigates, the kid sees the same body in the swimming pool. By the time the team reaches there, they see no body. Where is the body hidden? Who killed the man and why? The first thrilling investigative series on Indian Television, is today one of the most popular shows on Sony Entertainment Television. Dramatic and absolutely unpredictable, CID has captivated viewers over the last eleven years and continues to keep audiences glued to their television sets with its thrilling plots and excitement. Also interwoven in its fast paced plots are the personal challenges that the CID team faces with non-stop adventure, tremendous pressure and risk, all in the name of duty. The series consists of hard-core police procedural stories dealing with investigation, detection and suspense. The protagonists of the serial are an elite group of police officers belonging to the Crime Investigation Department of the police force, led by ACP Pradyuman [played by the dynamic Shivaji Satam]. While the stories are plausible, there is an emphasis on dramatic plotting and technical complexities faced by the police. At every stage, the plot throws up intriguing twists and turns keeping the officers on the move as they track criminals, led by the smallest of clues.

Jimena Gómez de la Flor, Europe Direct: "Efectivamente, en 2004, la Unión Europea aprobó una legislación sobre el derecho de los pasajeros cuando éstos viajan desde un aeropuerto de la Unión Europea o bien cuando están viajando con una compañía que está registrada en la Unión Europea en caso de cancelación, retraso y denegación de embarque. Si su vuelo ha sido cancelado y se encuentra en el aeropuerto tiene dos opciones: o bien pedir el reembolso del billete, el 100% del dinero que pagó, o bien pedir un vuelo alternativo lo antes posible. Si usted pide el reembolso, pierde el derecho de exigir un vuelo alternativo. Pero, si por el contrario, pide un vuelo alternativo tiene también derecho a asistencia durante el tiempo de espera, es decir: comidas, acceso a comunicaciones, como puede ser una llamada telefónica gratuita y una noche de hotel si fuera necesario mientras espera su vuelo alternativo. Además, puede también tener derecho a una compensación económica, eso depende de la distancia del vuelo.
