Giù per il Tubo - Trailer Italiano (2006)

Giù per il tubo è un film d'animazione del 2006 co-prodotto dalla Aardman Animation e dalla Dreamworks, la loro terza collaborazione dopo Galline in fuga (2000) e Wallace & Gromit: La maledizione del coniglio mannaro (2005). Il titolo del film sarebbe dovuto essere Ratropolis, come la città visitata da Roddy, ma poi è stato cambiato per evitare confusione con Ratatouille della Pixar, un altro film animato in computer grafica. L'idea originaria era quella di filmare il film in stop-motion, come le altre pellicole della Aardman, ma il grande numero di scene in cui è presente l'acqua avrebbe reso praticamente impossibile girare un film con pupazzi di plastilina. Così è stato deciso di realizzare il film in CG, ma adottando lo stesso software utilizzato per alcune scene di Wallace & Gromit: La maledizione del coniglio mannaro, ovvero un software di modellazione 3D sviluppato alla Aardman che riproduce certe imperfezioni tipiche della plastilina quando viene modellata.

Plonsters - Bewitched Scarecrow

Plummy tries his hand as a farmer: he turns into an agricultural machine and ploughs the soil and sows the seed corn. As a „sun" he helps the seed growing and ripening. Plif and Plops turn into crows and pick up the seeds. When Plummy discovers the two greedy crows he tries to scare them off - without success. Only when he morphs himself into an ugly scarecrow, it gives them such a shock that they can't help turning into plonsters again. Plummy tells them off and gets them to harvest the grain. Then they turn into a threshing machine, a mill and into an oven - and very soon three delicious pretzels are ready to eat. The moment they start munching, a little bird shows up and starts picking up the seed. Plif, Plops and Plummy turn into funny scarecrows. The little bird flies off and the three Plonsters are all having a big laugh. Plummy veut faire pousser du blé mais lorsqu'il s'apprête à récolter ses semences, Plif et Plops commencent à tout détruire...

Original Airdate - 18 December 2009 Bitzer's kennel is accidentally destroyed by the farmer's tractor crashing into it and the canny canine hopes the farmer will replace it with a new deluxe model. But when he sees his master's clumsy attempt to build a new kennel, Bitzer is so horrified that he packs his bags and leaves home. Shaun, however, hopes to tempt Bitzer to return with the kennel of his dreams.

This is a list of my favorite Sony Pictures Animation films from top to bottom. I hope you'll agree with the positions that I placed some of these movies in. I shudder with critiquing horror thinking about one of my favorite studios making a film about those God-awful smurfs! But Sony Pictures Animation has yet to let me down in their films (just like PIXAR) and so, I'll reluctantly give "The Smurfs" a shot this August. If you're an animation fan, you should too, because you shouldn't knock it 'till you see it. Aardman Animations is known for making Chicken Run, Wallace & Gromit, and Flushed Away, but after breaking up with DreamWorks, I haven't seen much of them. Well, for the first time in half a decade, the Oscar-winning creators of Wallace & Gromit are back and are producing a holiday film with Sony Pictures Animation called "Arthur Christmas". See it in theaters this November.

Wensleydale Creamery

Shot over the course of 9 months (to encapsulate the changing seasons) this promotional video is used both in the Wensleydale visitors centre at the creamery in Hawes, at international food festivals and by the firm's marketing staff. The sedate pace of Dales life is reflected in the relaxed voice-over (by TV and movie star Richard Ridings), the selection of long scenic shots and use of pastoral and brass band music. Animal Planet: The Animals Save the Planet

BROADCAST Animal Planet teams with Aardman to save the planet by Rob Shepherd Animal Planet International and Wallace & Gromit creator Aardman Animations have teamed up to launch a series of short films focused on saving the natural world. Animals Save the Planet is a series of humorous animated clips narrated by Dawn French, which features tips from animals on how to live an eco-friendly lifestyle. The 10x20-30-second clips feature ten short clay animated creatures in their own habitats, demonstrating how we can all make a difference by practicing a greener lifestyle. Viewers can watch as some of their favourite creatures talk, providing useful and positive tips on living a cleaner lifestyle. These include a penguin that discovers how much effort energy-saving light bulbs can save him, and a cow that learns about the environmental impact of his own methane gas. Plonsters - The Beautiful Garden

The Plonsters are three wonderful funny small plasticine characters; they can morph themselves into anything such as: trees, horses, garbage, boat, car or pop star. Their language is some kind of gibberish. The Plonsters have loads of fun and even if they often disagree, they always find a way for a peaceful solution. With creativity, the Plonsters achieve a lot. Plummy drops into a garden. He finds everything quite interesting and starts gardening. Shortly afterwards Plif and Plops drop in, but they're not interested in the garden. They quickly get a sun umbrella and lounger and the two have a nap. Plummy has, however, now built himself a fine vegetable garden. Happily, he leans back and takes a nap, too. He doesn't notice that Plif and Plops are waking up. They promptly discover his garden, jump into it and stuff their bellies full. Plummy is furious when he wakes up, but he soon knows who the culprits are. With a few tricks he gets the other two to return the garden to its former glory and they all then take a nap in the sun. Das Wetter ist schön und der ORANGENE beginnt mit dem Gemüseanbau im Garten.
