| This A883 Collator is comprised of 40 individual hoppers designed to feed a wide range of products onto a collection belt. A series of top belts holds the products together and allows for faster production speeds. The maximum cycle speed of the A883 Collator is 30000 copies per hour. Each hopper is capable of detecting missed or multiple product feeds, as well as good copy feeds, and reporting this information to the main control system. Reports can be generated throughout the run and after completion of production. Hoppers are designed for simple and rapid setup without the use of tools. Timing of the hopper to the collection belt need only be set one time for all products, reducing the amount of time necessary to change products between zones. Real-time production monitors are spaced evenly down the length of the collator to provide information to the operator and to the hopper feeders. Hopper loaders can be utilized to aid in feeding various types of products to individual hoppers. Hopper loaders help ensure a continuous stream of products to the hoppers, and their ergonomic design reduces fatigue caused by repetitive motion and lifting. At the end of the collating line, the completed products are fed directly into a plastic flow wrapping system. Incomplete products are rejected prior to this process.
