UBG#2 -On Tuesday August 5 we reconvened at the field behind the Station 41 fire department in Waverley NS to shoot the second video in the trilogy, United Breaks Guitars Song 2. Once again, everyone volunteered their time and talent to produce an outstanding video; however, Song 2 was a much bigger production than United Breaks Guitars. In addition to the main roles, we had nearly 100 extras in the cast and in order to say everything we wanted to say with the video, we required a broken guitar, an imitation broken guitar, a 40 foot high scissor lift, a limousine (complete with secret service agents), one genuine imitation space capsule, a space suit, a tuba, 3 suits of German Lederhosen, a canoe, one white panel van and a woman willing to wear tights and a big dollar sign.

The Special Air Service or SAS is a special forces regiment of the British Army that has served as a model for the special forces of other countries all over the world.[7][9] The Special Air Service together with the Special Boat Service (SBS), Special Reconnaissance Regiment (SRR), and the Special Forces Support Group (SFSG) form the United Kingdom Special Forces under the command of the Director Special Forces. While the Special Air Service traces its origins to 1941 and the Second World War, they gained fame and recognition worldwide after successfully assaulting the Iranian Embassy in London and rescuing hostages during the 1980 Iranian Embassy Siege, lifting the regiment from obscurity outside the military establishment.[10] The Special Air Service comprises 22 Special Air Service Regiment of the Regular Army, 21 Special Air Service Regiment and 23 Special Air Service Regiment provided by the Territorial Army. The three regiments' tasks are special operations in wartime and primarily counter-terrorism in peacetime.

Sig P229 SCT 9x19

Review and thoughts on the Sig Sauer P229 SCT in 9mm. It comes with four 18 rd magazines. The only design issue with this weapon is the front sight. Sig has chosen to put TruGlo TFO (tritium fiber optic) front sights on several weapons including this one. The sights current design is flawed in my opinion. There is the potential for the fiber optic rod to fly out of the front sight housing during firing or even just normal handling. At first I thought I really liked this sight setup; after a while I started to notice the fiber rod wiggling around in the metal housing. After some research I have found several instances of these sights falling apart and the operator being left with no night sighting capability. That is just unacceptable. I don't use this weapon as a carry piece so it was not a high priority to replace the front sight. Now that I have finished a few other projects I will replace the sights on this weapon with Trijicon tritium sights. Other than the front sight issue, this is an excellent weapon.
