This video shows the upper deck of the viaduct being demolished by massive jackhammers, while a brave construction worker sprays water to keep the dust down. It looks like we should expect an alien to come jumping out of this video at any moment. I heard the viaduct was going to be closed for a week or so, but I wasn't expecting them to demolish it. Oh well, it's not like I was using that highway anyway? Filmed in 1080p on a canon 5d mk II, 200mm, f2.8

Videos and Time-lapse videos taken around the CSIRO's Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) during May 2011 ... including obligatory cockatoos taking a hayride on the telescope :-) Equipment: Canon 5D Mk II (for all video and time-lapse imagery); Canon 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye (for wide-field shots); Canon 75-300mm f/4-5.6 (for animal scenes and zoom shots); Canon TC80N3 Timer Remote Control ... and a cheap broken tripod :-( Software: Quicktime Pro (to generate video from stills); iMovie to edit and compile movie. But the flights to get over took forever as expected (somewhat). 4 days after leaving I finally made it, but the weather was terrible for another 4. Just before leaving it got pretty good for about a day and a half and this is what I managed to get. Wish I had more time. I missed all the cool Lightning and the Lava of the first eruption. But I figure this will just be a trial run for another day.
