| Six sheep have been killed and another 13 injured after they were attacked by a dog in Angus. The animals were mauled in a field at Newbarns Farm, near Inverkeillor yesterday afternoon. The dog, believed to be a Staffordshire bull terrier, was caught by a couple walking their dog. It was handed to police. In other news; Police in Tayside have praised the public after forty three people were arrested for drink or drug driving over the festive period. Sixteen per cent of the drivers detected were involved in road traffic collisions while 50 per cent were caught after being stopped for a variety of reasons such as their manner of driving or minor vehicle defects.
