| Game Developers Conference San Francisco 2010 hakan: he's really fun, but is probably going to be low-mid at best unless being oiled-up ends up being totally amazing - really good midrange pokes, many of which advance him forward - tons of command normal moves - extremely low and short-ranged jump - no jump cross up, which is really weird for a grappler - will probably die to fireballs - will also probably die to rushdown; i couldn't find a single antiair or decent reversal specials: - qcf+p: baseball slide. fast startup, tons of active frames, hits low, knocks down... and is death on block. it totally looks like it should go under fireballs, but it never quite makes it all the way under. you can trade for a knockdown if you're relatively close, at least on hit you can go into a canned body splash followup by mashing punches. there's no reason not to; it won't come out on block anyway. both hits together do a pretty big chunk of damage; i'd estimate around 180 or so. hakan's main (only?) combo move the slide armor breaks, and does that job really well due to its fast speed and low hitbox. you can armor break opponents doing midrange focus attacks on reaction pretty easily fierce slide goes fullscreen pretty quickly, and is also useful for sliding under jumping characters to get out of the corner. i dont know what the purpose of the ex slide is yet -360p: command grab. lots of range, but fairly slow startup. i'd estimate around 5 frames. huge recovery on whiff; probably ... |
