| The G1BO miting de avance at the Rizal Memorial Track and Field Stadium was the grandest ever show of force for Gilbert Teodoro capping off his 90 days of positive campaigning. It was the most attended miting de avance for the 2010 presidential race - reportedly over 100000 attendees, mostly coming from different Green Team chapters (including us) and other volunteer groups, some were ordinary folks from all walks of life, including an old lady from Antipolo whom we met at the LRT Doroteo Jose station going to the venue all by herself. Although there were no big celebrities who showed up on stage (as they were at the backstage like Ruffa Guitterez, Miriam Quiambao, Jolina Magdangal, etc.), all that was needed to rock the jam-packed stadium were Rivermaya with pyrotechnic effects, a chopper carrying Gibo and of course 'the man' himself - the rest were history! |
