Naomi here with tons of Gamescom news!! Here's your Fix for Tuesday, August 16th. Sony fanboys, this is a big day for you. We've got loads of announcements, so listen up! During their Gamescom Press Conference, Sony confirmed another price drop for the PS3. The new price point will now be $249 dollars in the US, and the same number of Euros for our oversees friends--which reminds me! Europeans will be getting a new, budget model of the PSP. At €99 euros, the latest update will be sans Wifi and will play all PSP games. We'll keep you posted as the details roll in. In other Sony news, the Vita has a bunch of new games headed its way. Slated for release in 2012, we've got a new Assassin's Creed and FIFA. Also, we don't know when, but we're getting an interesting little puzzler called Escape Plan, a new AR fighter called Reality Fighters, a Bioshock game, a Call of Duty (big shocker there, right?) and Resistance: Burning Skies.
