Robot Soldiers

Who is this technology intended for? Robots for peace? It's hard to imagine a robot like this being actually useful in a military combat setting where 99.99% of all fighting is done at the distance of 100 meters or more. No, these robots are made for handling people, personal and upclose. And where does this typically happen? In so called "civil disturbances." You know, situations where people take to the streets to demonstrate their opinion about something. Paid for by the military and then adopted by "civilian law enforcement."

Sabaton - Panzerkampf + Lyrics!!

No video. Just listen it. Very good song and band. From The Art Of War Lyrics: Into the Motherland the German Army March! In the Soviet Union, Summer 1943 Tanks line up in thousands, as far the eye can see Ready for the onslaught, ready for the fight Waiting for the Axis, to march into the trap Mines are placed in darkness In the cover of the night Waiting to be triggered When the time is right Imminent invasion Imminent attack Once the battle's started There's no turning back The end of the Third Reich draws near Its time has come to an end The end of an era is near It's time to attack Into the Motherland the German Army march! Comrades, stand side by side, to stop the Nazi charge Panzers on Russian soil Thunder in the east. One million men at war, The Soviet wrath unleashed Fields of Prokhorovka, feel the heat of battle burned Suffered heavy loses losses, the tide of war has turned Driving back the Germans, fighting on four fronts Hunt them Out of Russia, out of Soviet land Reinforce the frontline, force the Axis to retreat Send in all the reserves, securing their defeat Soldiers of the Union broke the Citadel "Ruined seventh Army Axis rest in hell" The end of the Third Reich draws near Its time has come to an end The end of an era is near It's time to attack Into the Motherland the German Army march! Comrades, stand side by side, to stop the Nazi charge Panzers on Russian soil Thunder in the east. One million men at war, The Soviet wrath unleashed Oh, Mother Russia ...

The Lost Evidence: The Battle Of Berlin (1/5)

On 16th April 1945, 9000 Russian guns unleashed a devastating bombardment on German troops manning the outer defences of Berlin. More than a million Red Army soldiers had assembled to smash their way through to the heart of the city. Time had run out for Adolf Hitlers Third Reich. However, the battle-hardened veterans of the Red Army faced an enemy fighting with a ferocity born of desperation. In the streets of the city, their tank formations become easy prey for fanatical tank hunting teams of SS men and boys of the Hitler Youth. Furthermore, at the heart of the defence effort was Hitler himself. The beleaguered Fuhrer doggedly refused to admit defeat, demanding endless suicidal counterattacks. We see aerial reconnaissance photographs taken during the course of the battle. The majority of these aerial images have not been seen for sixty years. They have been combined with cutting edge computer graphics to create three dimensional models of Hitlers embattled capital city. For the first time, it is possible to follow the dramatic and bloody progress of the savage battle which brought the war in Europe to an end.

Александров 1942 Lyrics: Why are you depressed, Vasya, Hanging your head? Your clear eyes now look dim, Frowning, unhappy... You used to go into battle with jokes What happened suddenly to you, Vasya Vasilyochek? Oh, dear! Oh, Vasya-Vasilyok! Oh... Refrain: Sadness doesn't suit the soldier Do not let your grief overcome you Even if there's a reason Never be depressed Do not let grief get inside Never be depressed! Do not be depressed! For almost five weeks already There is no letter from the post. You see, my bro, My heart wants some endearment! Beating the enemy is a different matter - It's better done jokingly. If there's no letter from your sweetheart - Then your thoughts are darker. Oh, dear! Oh, Vasya-Vasilyok! Oh... Refrain But if she is not going to write Then she has forgotten me Then I shall understand That she has never loved me. Why are you, Vasya, my big friend, Torching yourself that way? If she loves you with all her heart, Then you'll get good news! Oh, dear! Oh, Vasya-Vasilyok! Oh... Refrain Keep our shoulders close to each other! Our friendship will stay! If your heart is hot, Then you'll find a girl for you! And if today it hurts don't be sad, Tomorrow will be ...

Cossacks on the Balkan's in WW2

The 1st Cossack Division (German: 1. Kosaken-Kavallerie-Division) was a Russian Cossack division of the German Army that served during World War II. It was created on the Eastern Front mostly out of Don Cossacks already serving in the Wehrmacht, those who escaped from the advancing Red Army and Soviet POWs. In 1945, the division was transferred to the Waffen SS. At the end of the war the unit ceased to exist. Upon the formation of the unit in April of 1943 the Division was dispatched to Croatia, where they were placed under the command of the Second Panzer Army and were used to provide rear area security to the army. The Division's first fighting engagement was on October 12, 1943, when the unit was dispatched against Yugoslav partisans in Fruška Gora Mountains. In the operation the Cossacks aided by 15 tanks and 1 armoured car captured the village of Beocin with the partisan HQ. Subsequently the unit was used to protect the Zagreb-Belgrade railroad and the Sava valley. Several regiments of the division took part in several anti-partisan operations and guarded the Sarajevo railroad against the partisans. As part of a wide anti-partisan operation Napfkuchen the Cossack division was transferred to Croatia, where it fought against partisans and chetniks in 1944. In 1944 the unit saw heavy action in Yugoslavia and suffered losses when Siberian Cossacks 2nd Regiment was surrounded by the partisans and held on for several days until other Cossack regiments were able to provide ...

Slavonic March

Due to fact that I never found this great piece on youtube, I made a little clip for you to enjoy it. I don't know for sure what orchestra is playing this, and I forgot the name of the conductor (I borowed the CD in a library and gave it back a long time ago). What I know is, that it was a bigger Soviet Orchestra, either the Moscov or the USSR Symphony Orchestra. It was recorded somewhere around 1987. Some people say, "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Modest Mussorgsky is the most russian music ever made, but i disagree. Just listen to this wonderful piece of music and you'll understand, why I do think so. "In June 1876, following incidents in which Turkish soldiers killed a large number of Christian Slavs who rebelled against Ottoman Empire and supported by countries like Austria and Russia, Serbia declared war on Turkey. Many Russians sympathized with those they considered to be their fellow Slavs and sent volunteer soldiers and aid to assist the Kingdom of Serbia. In the ensuing struggle the Serbian army was quickly defeated by the Turks. Nikolai Rubinstein, a close friend of Tchaikovsky, asked him to compose a piece for a concert benefiting the wounded Russian volunteers. In a burst of patriotism, Tchaikovsky composed and orchestrated what was first known as the "Serbo-Russian March" (later to be known as "Marche slave") in only five days. The piece was premiered in Moscow on November 17, 1876 to a warm reception." (wikipedia.org; Marche Slave)
