| Hizb ut Tahrir organized various large demonstrations across the Palestinian territories to protests against the Annapolis "peace" talks. They were attended by tens of thousands of people across Palestinian cities. In the city of Hebron, the officers of the Palestinian Authority (led by Fatah) opened fire on protesters, and deliberately shot, and in the process martyred (insha'Allah) a member of Hizb ut Tahrir Palestine.
