The first of Oakie's 2 studio Essential Mixes in 1994 and the first EM I heard (A week after it was broadcast). If you liked the Goa Mix you'll love this. Almost 2 hours of mind-melting trance, the 2 EMs Oakie produced in 1994 should have been realeased as a boxed set, but that sadly wasn't to be. Kershaw Skyline: "EDC Hall of Famer" by Nutnfancy

The Kershaw Skyline is a homerun utility knife design from in-house Kershaw designer Tommy Lucs (watch vid on him). For its reasonable price it dominates many other EDC knife competitors: lightweight (just 2.4 oz!), fast deploying (has bronze phosphor bushings), no steel liners to ruin the carry weight, good clip (tip down preferred in this design after much experience!), upgraded Sadnvik 14C28N steel, excellent quality, ergonomic medium traction G10 handle, tight lockup, and finally a spear point blade shape that's useable. In fact its 3 1/8" (7.9 cm) bead blasted finished blade is surprisingly large for a knife of this weight. And yet it has high utility and slicing capability in its EDC POU. It also comes extremely sharp out of the box, thanks in part to its wider blade and deep hollow grind. Jimping on the top would be a welcome addition but isn't necessary in the EDC POU, especially with the deep finger choil below. It is a high value, well-designed, well-made, and cool daily cutting tool to have along. Follow me and team Unito at www.facebook.com Training through autumn 2010. I injured my groin in August on triplecork attempt. I was out from tricking for two months. This sampler was meant to be made couple of months earlier and it was supposed to tell about my recovery. Due to GIGA gathering, NY gathering and Panda gathering I didn't have time to make this sampler earlier and I find it a good thing because I learned a lot about tricking at those gatherings. Here is no footage (except couple of clips from Germany after GIGA) from gatherings but this shows a little part of my training at home, little part of my normal, daily life. I'm sad this sampler isn't as good quality as it could be because I wasn't familiar with new editing program, sorry about that. I met and got to know a lot of really amazing people this year. Being at gatherings have been the highlights of this year for me for sure. I'm glad tricking community is growing and I've been given the opportunity to meet so many of you guys. I hope I'll see you soon again and I can't wait to meet more trickers who I haven't had the pleasure to meet yet. SOG Twitch II: "Cryogenic EDC" by Nutnfancy

Another winning SOG EDC blade. Like it's standard-setting Flash 1 stablemate, the Twitch II has the perfectly shaped full flat ground AUS-8 blade with cryogenic heat treat. It slices superbly, is perfectly sized for all kinds of utility tasks, and wears a decent edge. More importantly, it sharpens fast and readily. The assisted opening flipper design rocks and rockets the blade out fast. The safety is unneeded but present if you're paranoid about pocket deployment. Pocket clip is skeletonized and strong and carries deep enough. The aluminum handle scales are good looking and tough but don't provide much traction (which is ok for the POU). Weight is 2.4 oz and much less with the Lowe's plastic handled version of the Twitch II (which loosened up in hard use, shown). Lockup on this version is excellent. Value is adequate, maybe a bit more than other comparable capability blades. But with its ultimate thinness and speed you will fall in love with the Twitch II as it becomes a transparent part of your system. /////////////////Nutnfancy Likability Scale: Twitch II aluminum scales: 8.5 of 10; Twitch II Lowe's plastic scales: 7 of 10 as shown, 9 if solid lockup assured

"Point Break Actual Pt 3" by Nutnfancy, Precision Bolt Gun Shooting

Night falls in the desert as we reach Point Break, a high and rugged outcropping on a mountain crest. BuggetNuster and I decide to have a go at the lased 740 yard high declination shot, very tough in the darkness. Making it worse are the valley winds which made it tough to hear the few hits we made...post production reveals two connections, miraculous given the distance, angle, and darkness. Scopes are discussed and put to their limits in this now-dark, favorite shoot location. We plan on returning and doing better, maybe ranging out to 1000 yards to the hill beyond (in thumbnail image). We don't want to leave. Hot chocolate, more stupid talk, and yet another great friend memory ensues. The sights are stunning.
